The objectives for which the trust is established are:

• To foster, develop, and encourage all forms of performance art, including without limitation, theatre, music, and dance in a manner that benefits the community.
• The provision of artistic, cultural and theatrical training and education that assists with the development of students in schools and other places of learning.
• The provision of any other charitable purpose that promotes or furthers the discipline of live theatre in New Zealand.
