Since 1983 she has worked extensively as Actor and Director and Playwright at Downstage Theatre, Circa ,Taki Rua and Bats Theatre Wellington, The Court Theatre Christchurch, Centrepoint Theatre, Palmerston North, Fortune Theatre Dunedin and Auckland Theatre Company.
